Dreamscapes

The Dreamscapes series was shot in France and first exhibited at the Grenier de Challoux gallery. Working with studio lighting in the forest from day into night, the final images are constructed from multiple exposures stitched together to create an infinite depth of field and remarkable shadow detail. The aim was to produce technically beautiful images with the feeling of a surreal dreamscape, hinting at a narrative that unfolds just beyond the frame. As with all of my composited work, I wanted the photographs to carry an ephemeral, hyper-real quality while never appearing overtly computer generated.
